Community Foundation Grey Bruce encourages endowment building and facilitates philanthropic partnerships within all communities in Grey and Bruce, now and for future generations. Our partnership with them involves a permanent Endowed Fund to create sustainability as well as a Flow Through Fund which helps us run our office and enables us to promote awareness, provide online counselling and community events as well as pursue more funding opportunities. Our association also allows for income tax receipts to be issued on all of our donations.
Our collaboration with Canadian Mental Health Association Grey Bruce enables us to hold our Endowed Fund with the Community Foundation Grey Bruce. Our Memorandum of Understanding also allows us to pursue funding opportunities through grants with the use of their charitable status. In a community partnership, we also work side by side enhancing and promoting the mental health of individuals, families and community through advocacy, education and mental health services.
Our partnership with the Municipality of Brockton involves their generous donation of helping us secure our new permanent location at 4 Park Street, Walkerton. Through a lease and purchase agreement, we will be able to serve not only the young people of Brockton but our larger community of Grey, Bruce and surrounding areas.
